Qeep is mobile phone application that will give you access to a large and fun social network, where you’ll be able to chat, share images, play games and communicate in funny ways.
Just like in any other social network, you’ll have to create your profile to start interacting with the rest of the community. In that sense, Qeep will let you search for people in your own town and with your same tastes to start chatting through its platform. To do so, you’ll use the service’s own type of message called QMS, which basically are cheaper SMS. You can send texts, nudges and photographs.
But there are also other interesting features for all of the “qeepers”. First, games. With this application you’ll be able to play some funny entertainments with other people, such as Battleships or Flipside (the equivalent to Reversi). They’ll allow you to socialize with your friends in a different and engaging way.
Second, you’ll use the Sound attacks, some bizarre audio files that you can send to any of your friends. The idea behind them is that your contacts won’t expect such strange sounds coming from their phones, so you’ll catch them off guard and make them an unexpected joke.
Finally, there are Photoblogs, a special section in which you can post photos and share them with the rest of the community. After you upload any image, you’ll be able to add brief texts to them, explaining what’s the picture about.
Although some of the members share contents that may be inappropriate for certain people, Qeep is a refreshing alternative in the social networking world. Be sure to try it out.
