Facebook Video is a simple plug-in for Mozilla Firefox that enables you to download all the videos that your friends share on Facebook.
The operation of this extension is very simple: all you have to do is locate the download option in the video you want to save and start the process. By default, the software will download the content in FLV format.
Many users, however, wish to save the videos in other formats. If you're one of them, you’ll have to indicate to Facebook Video that you want to convert the material. This process is done using Zamzar.com platform, which will ask you for an email address where it will send the link to download the converted file once the process is complete.
While Facebook Video is a quite specific add-on, that only allows you to download videos that are uploaded over the Facebook platform, it is an interesting and lightweight alternative to other types of software.
