Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is the first chapter in a series of graphical adventure games where you’ll once again be put in the shoes of the charming Guybrush Threepwood, the clumsiest and most famous pirate in the gaming world.
In this first installment you will find that Guybrush has unleashed a terrible evil throughout the Caribbean. After a confrontation with LeChuck, the pirate ghost, the latter unleashes a curse that turns everyone it touches into monsters. Your mission, therefore, is to find a solution to this problem.
Thus, in Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal you'll find everything you've always liked about the franchise: riddles and puzzles, unique and hilarious dialogues, nice graphics and a compelling story.
While there is less humor than in its predecessors, Tales of Monkey Island: Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is an honorable addition to one of the best franchises in the adventure genre.
