F.E.A.R. is a first-person action game in which you’ll play as a member of a special force in charge of dealing with supernatural threats. You’ll have to enter a corporation where you'll encounter a series of paranormal phenomena.
Two major successful elements have made F.E.A.R. a classic of the genre. The first is its advanced artificial intelligence, which allows the difficulty to increase with every step you take. Due to this, your enemies will group together, surround objects to ambush you and even use the environment to their advantage.
The second strength of this title is in its atmosphere. Inspired by Japanese horror movies, the environments in F.E.A.R. are dark, oppressive, and make you feel like something terrible could happen at any moment. Undoubtedly, this adds to the impact of the story and contributes to the aura of terror that permeates the entire title.
With an interesting weapon system, multiplayer support and a soundtrack that suits the game perfectly, F.E.A.R. is an excellent action game that every lover of the genre must try.
