Counter-Strike is a modification (or MOD) of the game Half Life, which has taken on a life of its own. In this action game you can compete against your friends or the computer in different battlegrounds and with various rules and modes.
When starting the game, you have to choose between two sides: Terrorists and Counter Terrorists. Every team must eliminate its rivals with the use of different weapons that can be acquired with money or by finding them in the field.
Apart from the open combat between the teams, in Counter-Strike there are also other playing modes such as the freeing of hostages and planting of bombs.
These options add an interesting flavor to a game that is already very attractive.
