Step0. Download the latest Aiseesoft DVD Ripper and install it.



Step1. Insert your DVD disc into your DVD-Rom, then run the software, click “Load DVD” button and add the DVD file. You can also add “DVD/IFO” from your hard disk by clicking “Load DVD”.

Step2. This software can convert DVD to various video formats. Click the “Profile” drop down list to select a format.



Tips: If you don’t know much about video formats, you can select a format according to the name of your portable player. For example, you can select “iPod Touch MPEG-4 (*.mp4)” when you want to rip DVD movie for iPod Touch, and the default setting works great.

Cut Function:

There are three methods to set trim time:



Method 1: Enter the start time in the Start Time box and click OK, then enter the end time in the Set End Time box and click OK.
Method 2: Drag the scissors bars under the preview window when you want to trim, then the time will be shown in the Start Time box and End Time box for your reference.
Method 3: Click "Trim From" button when you want to begin your trimming. Click "Trim To" button where you want to stop your trimming.


Part 2: Rip and cut DVD for Mac

Step0. Download the latest Aiseesoft DVD Ripper for Mac (Intel version , PowerPC version ) and install it.



Step1. Insert the DVD movie you'd like to rip into the DVD drive

Step2. Click "Load DVD" button to load your DVD, select the output Profile, Destination and set the optional parameters like audio track and subtitle
